This is a large 1:200 scale model airplane from Herpa Wings of the Aero Lloyd Airbus A-321 aircraft with the special Trigema colorful livery. This is a fully assembled plastic model in 1:200 scale, printed (not decaled), in meticulous detail. This airplane model includes landing gear and display stand. Aero Lloyd was the first German holidaymaker airline to sell parts of its fuselage as advertising space. From July 1997 on, an MD-83 carried the logo of the German textile company Trigema. When the MD-83 was retired, three A321 aircraft received the same paint scheme. This is a model of the plane with the registration D-ALAK in a large 1/200 scale version. But even revenue from this kind of advertising did not save Aero Lloyd from bankruptcy. After twenty-three years of operations, it had to file for bankruptcy on October 16, 2003. Herpa Wings creates their aircraft models in great detail at their design center in Germany. This is one of the most popular airplane model lines in the world and we are proud to carry the entire line including many rare and hard to find aircraft.
